Stampin' Up! Pretty Medaline- #GDP372 CASE THE DESIGNER

Happy Thursday!

My today's post is for Global Design Project Challenge #GDP372

This week is about CASE THE DESIGNER - Kayal McCredie.

Very talented and a fantastic artist.

I used the Pretty Medaline Cling Stamp set. For the sentiment, I used the new Something Fancy Stamp Set from the upcoming Mini Catalogue. Also, I had so much fun creating this project by colouring it with the Stampin' Watercolour Pencils.

All the products I used here are available on my Online Store. You can check them out at the end of the blog post.

Here is my card for today's Challenge-  #GDP372

  • Base card Crumb Cake, followed by another layer of Crumb Cake where I stamped the image to the end of both sides.
  • Then embossed, the Basic Black Cardstock using the Timber 3D embossing folder.
  • Stamp the image using Versamtak Ink and heat, emboss it using white embossing powder, then colour it using watercolour pencils.
  • I used the colours- Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Cajun Craze, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry.

  • After colouring, I used blender pens to blend the colour, but I just wanted a slight pop of colour in the black cardstock.
  • Stamped the sentiment in Crumb Cake Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Inkpad.
  • You can see some white dots around it using the White gel pens.

  • Now you add the Festive Pearls, the Cherry Cobbler one to Pop up some of that colour.

  1. This is beautiful! I love the idea to use the watercolor pencils on the black cardstock after heat embossing in white. Happy Boxing Day from Europe! Alicia
